If you've been following along, this is Me Time's 2nd edition of our Facial Yoga Series. Let's dive into erasing forehead lines, reducing puffiness and dark circles in the eye area, lifting the brow, and softening crows feet and lines between the eyes. If you missed the 1st Series to sculpt jawline, reduce sagginess in the neck, and lift cheeks, you'll want to start here to learn more about the benefits of facial yoga.
Lifting & Stress Melting Facial Massage
In the 1st series, I taught you 2 facial yoga exercises. Now, you'll learn about facial massage techniques to lift, tone, and melt away tension plus 1 pro technique to give yourself a mini facial lift.
ALWAYS start with clean hands and face so you're not pushing dirt, sweat, or anything that's gathered on your skin deeper. And it's IMPORTANT to do this when you're doing your skincare routing every morning and night while your skin has slip. You'll have the perfect slip when using Phyto Tonic and Glow Getter.
1. Erase Forehead Lines: Vertically massage forehead using knuckles over horizonal lines. Do this for 10-15 seconds to relax the forehead, releasing the muscles, increase blood flow, firming skin, and softening lines. Pro Tip: To relax lines, go against the lines. For horizontal lines, use vertical motions. For vertical lines, use horizonal motions.
2. The Eye Reviver: Close your eyes and use your fingers to gently massage the area around your eyes in a circular motion. As you circle up to the brow, push up and in slightly around the brow bone to melt away tension and lift muscle effectively giving your brow a more uplifted look. Sweep fingers to temples, down the hairline, behind ear to neck. This combination of lifting and lymphatic massage reduces puffiness and dark circles while reducing fine lines.
3. Bye 11s and 1s: Smooth Lines Between the Eyes by this easy massage. It's also reduces tension headaches by melting away tight overused muscles after long days at the computer or on your phone.
